Hi there!! How are you doing? I hope your Memorial Day weekend was great! I celebrated at my bachelorette party, and it was SERIOUSLY amazing.
Today’s post is about setting the foundation for balance with food during the summer months.
I want to start off with a couple questions for you. Take a moment with each question and sit with the answer or write down your answers.
- What did last summer look, sound and feel like for you?
- How would you like this summer to look, sound, and feel for you?
- What scares you the most about this summer in regards to your body image, and relationship to food?
These are some important things to think about! Summer is AROUND the corner! Can you believe it?
You deserve EXACTLY what you want. We all do. But, nothing will change if we aren’t willing to do the work to change.
The thing that scares you the most is what I recommend you start with. If you’re scared that you’re going to gain weight if you stop dieting, then REALLY start to focus on that part of your mindset. If you’re worried you’re going to overeat junk all the time if you aren’t dieting, then work on adding in all kind of food and learning to listen to your body so you can eat in moderation.
So, put your finger on the one or two big fears you have with this process, make a plan to attack them and start chipping away at it. If we let these fears take over, then chaotic and negative eating habits will continue.
